Spotify Launching Apps
So im sure some of you have heard of the music site called Spotify. It allows you to listen to any type of music you want and create certain playlists that you enjoy. I myself have a playlist with all different types of music which is nice because they allow you to chose anything that you want. Now what spotify is doing is that they are allowing companies to create apps for their site. This allows for the site to become more attractive for advertising which opens this site up to many more things. Do you think that what the company is doing is right or wrong? Do you think the website will grow or people will get annoyed with all of the advertising?

I believe the company is just trying to benefit themselves and create more profit for them with the advertising they are including in there music site. I believe some consumers will get annoyed but I believe the benefits of Spotify will outweigh all the annoying advertisements and people will continue to use it.
ReplyDeleteI think it was a smart decision for Spotify to put their apps on different websites. I have seen their built in ads on Facebook in my News Feed and it shows exactly what songs your friends are listening to. Personally, I think it is annoying and I could care less to what someone is listening to, but for some people it might be useful and beneficial to Spotify by advertising that information which could help them gain more users.
